Thomas Haig has been appointed president and COO at discount retailer Giant Tiger.

Haig will be taking on the role from Greg Farrell, who is preparing for retirement.

Farrell has been with Giant Tiger for 15 years in various roles. He was appointed president and COO in 2012.
